Academics continued to hold the flag high at South Point as Boards results came in with greatly satisfying performances by both Madhyamik and Higher Secondary candidates.
This year Class X students put up a great show. Of a total of 767 candidates, 731 secured First Division, 513 passed with star marks with 383 scoring 80% and above and 95 students securing 90% and above. Congratulations to Rajdeep Talapatra for bagging the Fourth position in the Madhyamik merit list. So many students securing such high marks is undoubtedly an enviable feat.
Higher Secondary results continued scaling peaks of brilliance with 478 out of 493 students securing First Division; 240, 143 and 13 of them scored 75% and above, 80% and above and 90% and above respectively. Such highly satisfying overall results make everyone happy – the examinees and their mentors – at South Point.
While Madhyamik and Higher Secondary candidates scaled happy heights, Arnab Bhattacharjee ensured that WBJEE 2006 results brought more joy to South Point. He has stood Third in the Engineering Stream at WBJEE 2006 while scoring 91.2% in the Higher Secondary Examination.
